Shlomo Caine, former Intel executive, joins Tevet Board of Directors.

Mr. Caine was most recently with Intel Capital where he was responsible for identifying investment, acquisition, and growth opportunities for high technology portfolio companies in Israel, Europe, and Russia. Prior to that Shlomo ran Intel’s Fab 14 in Ireland and has held a variety of positions with Intel related to running high volume semiconductor manufacturing operations.

About Shlomo Caine:
Shlomo Caine is past Managing Director of Strategic Investments for Intel Capital: Central and Eastern Europe, Russia & Israel. With a bachelor's degree in Physics and Mathematics, and an M.Sc in Materials Science, Mr. Caine started his career at Tadiran Electronics in Israel, working on Hybrid microelectronic components and devices. In 1982 he joined the start-up team of the first Intel Fab outside of USA: Fab 8 in Jerusalem, where he continued to work in a variety of engineering and manufacturing positions. In 1994 Mr. Caine accepted the position of startup manager for Intel's Fab 14 in Ireland, responsible for building, staffing and running Intel's first offshore quarter-micron facility, a position he held until 1999 when he returned to start up the Intel Capital activities in Israel. In 2002 Mr. Caine started covering investments in Western Europe and finally in late 2004 he assumed responsibility for Intel Capital’s investments in Central and Eastern Europe and Russia in addition to Israel. Mr. Caine retired from Intel in 2007. |
